Leon Restaurant

LeonThe restaurants rock a sort of home made, recycled meets south american diner. Colourful but chic, with banquette seating, old 'found' chairs and finished cooking oil tins put to good use as lampshades and stools.

The food is fast but fair. Seasonality and freshness abound.

There are great salads of avocado bacon/feta and quinoa, tasty wraps (slow cooked pork with chili sauce, anyone) and more substantial main meals. Drinks keep the bar high, I especially love their lemon ginger cooler and their hot chocolate is to die for.

The fresh food and reasonable price, coupled with charming staff and excelent animal welfare standards mean this is a place I go to A LOT.

You can even BYO in the evening (from 6), making it a great place to grab a cheap evening bite in town.
