The secret to a great Moscow Mule is the quality of your ginger beer - and make no mistake it must be ginger beer, that white, cloudy, spicy, gorgeous zing of a drink, and not the insiped, clear brown meuh of ginger ale (unless it's homemade).

The White Russian, king of all the milky cocktails as it is neither sweet nor too creamy but rather like a smooth coffee on the tongue. I never use cream in mine (too cloying) and prefer Khalua to creme de cacao (more of a coffee bite).
