Easy Perfect rice everytime

Perfect fluffy rice everytime.

- 1 cup white basmati rice
- 1.5 cups Water/Stock
- Salt
- butter (optional)
Method/steps
- Bring your water/stock to the boil with the salt.
- Once boiling add your rice and give it a quick stir with a fork to make sure the rice is broken up properly.
- Let the water start to bubble again then cover the pan with the lid that has a tea towel wrapped around it. (this will absorb moisture)
- turn the heat right down and cook for 10 minutes
- Once the time is up turn the heat completely off and leave it to stand for 5 minutes. Leave the lid on this will be absorbing the steam.
- after 5 minutes remove the lid and get a fork and fluff up the rice with a little bit of butter or just the fork.
